How to delete your account
You can request deletion of your account for any product (alterai.os, alterai.apps, or alterai.cabs):
- In-app: Settings → Account → Delete Account (where available), or
- By email: send a request from your registered email to agent@alter.business with the subject "Account Deletion — [product]".
What happens
- We verify your identity and the request.
- Your account is deactivated and scheduled for deletion.
- Active subscriptions are cancelled; no further billing occurs (fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law).
- Personal data associated with the account is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except data we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Timeline
Requests are typically actioned within 7 business days, with full deletion completed within 30 days.
